The plan
I was stuck on a problem at work, I forget what, and I was on someone’s blog reading their post about it. By the end of it they’d helped me solve my problem and I could move on.
But before I did I clicked around the rest of the site to read their other posts and was pleasantly surprised to find I already knew the rest.
And then it hit me.
This person was only two steps ahead of me. They’d already solved the problem I had, which was one step. The second was having all these other solutions written up and shared online.
Working on the web for so long I’ve developed an urge to share and give back to others in my position.
So in an effort to replicate that I’m going to work on posting more.
About
I’ve been working on the web for over a decade now. My first few years in the industry were spent building blogs and landing pages for businesses.
And yet I still don’t have one for myself.

My domain will be the main entry point for me online.
For now its only goal is to cover the basics, because right now it isn’t even doing that, then afterwards I can review.
The end goal is to make it compatible with the IndieWeb but there’s a lot to do.
I’m going to start from the beginning and narrate my choices and decisions along the way. I’m hoping building in public like this can be beneficial for others, even if they are already online.
This will give me plenty of opportunities to cover all the different aspects of building for the web that I want published on my own domain.

Updates will come from here on my microblog.
The posts will probably be way more nerdy from now on.
You have been warned.
